Thanks for
considering to support Stories on Mission through giving. Below is
a list of specific items needed for ministry here in Perry County-
Personal Item Kits-
This past fall, seven families lost their homes or
apartments due to fire. Many of the fires were caused by faulty
wiring due to the age and quality of available housing in Perry County.
Please consider donating the following items-
Soap - Shampoo - Toothbrushes - Toothpaste -
Razors - Shaving Cream - New Bed Linens, Wash clothes, and Towels,
Deodorant, ect..
Also financial donations are needed to help families purchase items
to replace all that was lost due to fire.
Books-
Studies show that if a
child has their own bookcase and books, they are more inclined to read
and in turn help them with their education. In an area where many
students drop out of high school, there is a great need to encourage
younger students to read and value their education. Please
consider donating the following items-
New and gently used books for literacy projects -
Bookcases or funds to purchase materials to build the bookcases (this
allows the children to personalize them and value them more)
School Supplies-
School supplies are always needed in our local
public schools through out the year. Backpacks, paper, pencils,
and teach supplies are always appreciated.
